I just joined and made a profile for my dad but it already existed and is managed by a family member. How do I delete the profile I created for him and add the existing one to my tree or add me to the existing tree.

  how can i mend the profile of my mothers parents, i set up wrong and now it shows them as mhy parents and they are not, how do i edit this, and i have tried to remove it from the edits and nothing happens

  In most cases it is better to merge duplicate profiles.

  As long as you are the only manager you can delete the profile from the actions menu (when there are no children connected to the profile).

  If you need to disconnect profiles ask help from a curator (Please post your requests in the Geni discussion ATTENTION Curators, please assist.).
