I know a few people who had their dna test on FamilyTreeDNA. Are these the same tests and are the results compared to those already in the FamilyTreeDNA database? Can I export or import the results to/from the Ancestry.com database?

Jeff, Geni Curator The DNA tests offered through Geni are done in partnership with FamilyTree DNA. So, they should be the same tests. At this time, Geni does not have an import for the DNA tests into the tree, but I know many users have expressed interest in doing this, so hopefully it's something we'll see in the future.
