I have registered and gotten my confirming email and password. I have logged on. I cannot send an email to another member. I keep getting asked to sign up for Gen Pro and I don't want to do that. How can I reach another member who shares an ancestor with me? So far, this website doesn't seem very helpful or user-friendly. Please help me change my opinion.
Barbara, you must be trying to use the the built in search to find the person, as sending a message to a member is no cost, but you have to find them without Geni's search. So if you're interested in a profile you saw online via Google, then visit that profile and click the "Contact Manager" button or follow the link of the manager that appears on that page.
