On Grandma Martha's ancestry we have her parents,
David and Mary Ann who were
first cousins. In other words their paternal grandparents
were the same people. Their fathers, Arthur and Thomas, were brothers.
I can add these people but only by duplicating both family lines.
I would like to be able to join them on the Geni chart.

Diana Frances Hewitt I asked a similar question some time ago, but did not receive the help I needed to get rid of the split tree. My great-grandfather had eight children in all, and two of these were my grandfathers - my tree therefore has a lot of people appearing twice.

Anne Brannen I myself have double second cousins, because my mother had double first cousins -- her parents had married a brother and sister of each other.
You only enter each person once, but in the tree, they will end up with a green #2 down on the lower left hand side of their tab -- if you click on it, you'll get sent to the other place they show up.
I will see if I can find your duplicates.

Anne Brannen It looks like it's working, and you've got everybody where they go -- when I click on the x2 I get taken to the other place your grandfathers show up.
