Clicking on a name in "Search" doesn't work

Does anyone else have this problem? If I disable JavaScript it WILL work, but then I have to enable it again to go any further. I've tried both in Safari and Firefox, using a MacBook Pro on OSX Yosemite.

  I have had a similar problem and it was my adblocker that caused it

  Oh really? I use AdBlock, too. Thanks. Were you able to use a different block software?

  Adblock is the best, but I had to whitelist a google link on Geni pages.

  Just disabled mine, but it didn't help!

  I tinnk it was this rule that fixed it: 

  ||google-analytics.com$domain=geni.com

  Hmm. I'm not that computer literate. If you'd describe the process, I'd really appreciate it.
