An example of this situation would be deceased biological parents of a child old enough to understand what happened, then was adopted quickly. The child would recognize all four people as their parents.

William (Bill) McDonough I can understand how complex it would be to put BOTH biological and adoptive parents in a tree, but life is complicated. Seriously, how many adopted people are there?
