When i try to see the profile of a person found in a search, all I get is an ad for the Premium service. The only choices available are for a free Trial Subscription, which I don't want, or Cancel. Cancel takes me back to search results, but the loop doesn't end.

Bjørn P. Brox As a non-premium user Geni search result are only available for family profiles or profiles managed by a collaborator.
A workaround is to use Google to search withe option site:geni.com, and the search is even better since it does not have to be exact spelling of the name.
Don't ask why Google have better access than registered Geni users.... -
Frank Garcia I don't know why either, but it really sucks that Geni won't let a basic user view search results.
