Hello. Even though I have my social sharing off, you can still get to my family tree by searching my name (Ilona Rodan Ganetzky) on the internet as you can see below:

How do I turn this off so no one can get to our family tree on an internet search?

Under account settings / permissions: https://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions
Uncheck "Let the public search for me (profile privacy settings apply)"
Note that after unchecking this, Google will still retain the cached results for a period of time (maybe a few weeks), but when they reindex Geni next it should be removed from their search results.
Also note that this only applies to your profile. By default, all unclaimed living profiles are private. Members must define it in their settings as I've outlined above. Deceased profiles are public.
OK, this makes more sense.
I just don't want my family pictures or me out on Google. It is easy for anyone to click on me and get to my family tree.
