How to add a second marriage for my son

My son has remarried.  It shows his first wife as his ex-wife, but I really need to add his new wife, but nowhere can I figure out how.  Anyone??  I'd really like to simply eliminate #1 but apparently only she can do that and I have no contact with her nor does anyone else.
