 My great great grandfather Nicholas Schmidt had two marriages. After his first wife died he married Magdeline Burkhard  who was the mother of my great grand mother. My great great grandmother Magdeline Burkhard also had two marriages. The first was to Lambert Gerhardt the father of my great grandmother. The second marriage was to Nicholas Schmidt the father of my great grand father. This means that my great grandfather and great grandmother are step sibling to each other and they married each other.   Go to your tree and your great grandfather, click on "more" and "move this person". His rectangle now appears on the right side. Go to your great grandmother and drag your great grandfather onto her and add as spouse.
