How do I undo the pin function

I did not quite understand what the green pin function was for but now I do.  It tags a line of people onto the front of the path search. Does anyone know how to reverse the action? All help is greatly appreciated.

  Pin the destination (the other end) and visit the origin. Should be able to do it in either direction, just spends where you push the pin and what profile your looking at the path from.
