With over 10.000 individuals in my ancestry tree I don't care to start from scratch on Geni. Is there any way to get the ancestry tree data into Geni? Gedcom file?

Jeff, Geni Curator 9,900 are probably already on Geni, so they stopped GEDCOM imports, for the time, so you don't create duplicates of existing profiles. You'll want to build up to a point and then merge into the existing world tree. To speed up the process of creating those initial profiles, you could use SmartCopy: https://www.geni.com/projects/SmartCopy/18783 but you'll have to get a Pro membership trial to copy family members over.
