I'm relatively new to Geni and have added 200 + profiles so far. The other day I logged on and saw I now have over 10,000 profiles connected to my tree. I am excited about that but not ready to deal with so many connections. I still have many more relatives to add and prefer dealing with just the profiles I've added at this time.

You can't have good merges undone, but if your tree is overwhelming you, go on down to the bottom of the page, on your Tree page -- there's a tab that says "preferences." You can set your tree to display only your direct ancestors, for instance.
But be careful now, not to add in duplicates! check to see if the profiles you want to add are already in the tree -- if so, don't add new ones; you can simply add in the information you've got, if it's a regular profile.
If it's a Master Profile, and is locked, and you have different information, contact the curator.
