Why has half of my family tree gone?

I started this family tree in 2012 and had built hundreds of profiles, going back to the 1700s. We had a pro membership, which somewhere along the line, has lapsed. Logging in yesterday, I noticed that huge amounts of information has disappeared from my tree - the result of a lot of hard work! Can anyone advise me? I have to say I am pretty disgusted that you are not allowed to email Geni with a query unless you pay money to go pro again! Feeling very disappointed and let down. Has this happened to anyone else?
