Existing member suddenly finding myself delinked

I am an existing member of Geni and had found myself linked to my family tree consisting of over 5000 members having found my ancestry upto the 18th great grandparents.  Now suddenly I find my profile detached and am being asked to add the names of my relatives. Could it be because I have forgotten my password and have signed afresh via a different email id and password? Please help me relink to the existing lineage which I took so much time and trouble to find!! I have been on this since 2007 or 2009 and found my family tree about 3 years ago....

My family lineage from my mothers side is the Peres family of Spanish descent. My mothers name is Alexandra Olimpia Lilia Peres e Pinto, (nee Peres) aka Lillian, and my fathers name is Joaquim Jose de Jesus Pinto. I had signed into my tree even as recently as 2 months ago, but since then have been finding myself a lone new member! Please help!!

  Yes, your account is your email address.  A new email creates a new tree. If you forget your password, you can reset it or have it reset.  http://help.geni.com/entries/466610-Lost-Password

  But I'll send a merge request to you for linking your two accounts.  After the merge, you'll need to also merge the duplicate parents you created.  You'll be able to do this by clicking the yellow triangle that will appear on your profile.  Let me know if you need help or if I see the merge take place, I'll go ahead and merge them.  One note though is that you have your mother's name different in one tree than the other.
