There's this curator poking around my family tree (I hadn't accessed Geni for years, really), and in the last month, he's gone around changing everyone's names, misspelling existing correct spellings, changing other privacy details, randomly adding extra children into trees, and especially, and egregiously, changing the last names of all the women to their husbands' names. This whole tree has been private for six years; I have no idea how he could go access all of this information and change it. What on earth is Geni even thinking allowing such privacy violations? We have birthdays, dates of weddings, locations, email addresses etc listed for people – how is my data being shared so easily with stupid strangers? Is this even legal?
