Terry Jackson (Switzer) Does 'died without issue' assume a marriage or are there occassions when you would tick both died unmarried and died without issue. It is possible to die unmarried but to have issue although historically perhaps not common.

Judith Judi Elaine (McKee) Burns terry - good point one i never gave a thought to, but i was thinking more of those of whom were married and on occassion we run into couples who bear the exact same names - many of your older genealogies bear after a married couple 'd.s.p.' or died without issue - i guess it was just a jesture to future researchers to let another know the line ended there which I have always thout was kind of nice - of course i know there have been grave errors on occasion but if documented to me I think it is a helpful hint that one does not need to keep chasing down a line the no longer exists and one can concentrate on lines that need to be researched.

Jadra (Geni Curator) I specially like 3 and 4 as there is no way to make it visible on the tree view now (I do enter it in about me at the moment)
