Presently you can be a spouse, ex-spouse (divorce), partner, and ex-partner... Would like to see the options of Widowed or Widower for members that have had a spouse pass away during marriage and been re married. Not all ex's are because of divorces

Minette Capper Could Geni please add a field for widow or widower. I see quite a few people have asked for this. I am trying to do my tree properly, and have great grandparent who's spouse died, and he got married again. The only option s are ex-wife (divorced) or ex-husband (divorced), and ex-partner. They had never divorced. The wife died and he remarried.
Please note: I DO NOT wish to put divorced, as this makes the record inacurate. This is not a difficult request. Please add this asap
