Add the following Tabs to Search:
- Not Connected to You
- Not Managed by You
(or a NOT check-box to two of the three currently existing tabs)
Currently, there are three tabs:
- All of Geni
- Connected to You
- Managed by You
Adding the NOT qualifier to the last two will help those of us attempting to connect all members of a family that has a rare surname, by easily identifying branches that are disjoint from the the Big Tree.
I would like to search Geni for the people who has the same last name of mine. When I search my family (last) name I got 296 people. Then, when I filtered these results to the ones that are "Connected" to me, I get 282 people. There are 14 people who are not connected to me but they have the same of my last name. How can I have a list of these 14 names out of the 296 names list. This is must have option in the search tool (i.e to search or to the re-filter a search results to find people who are not connected to me). Please help.

This is an essential tool that should have been there since day one: the reason to search is to find someone that we do not know about, so searching for someone already connected to us (or even managed to us) is a bit of nonsense… why should I search for someone I pun in the tree in the first place?
More likely I want to search for someone sharing my family name, but not entered by me or connected to me…
I am profoundly disappointed that this simple and (if implemented) very useful feature is not even planned.
If it ever is, I would also like to be able to Sort the Search results on the Managed By column.
