Marking twins in tree view, conflict resolution etc

Something to be able to mark twins, for example a checkbox, and on the profile maybe some differently coloured frame (say yellow). It should help minimise wrong merges and it could be off interest to some people (for example some areas in the world are known for high % of twins).

  Just put Twin in the suffix box.

  Maybe there are automatic merge proposal? Only first name is different in the case of twins...

  Even a first name can be same with second different i think eldon's propsal is a solution

  I still would like a box for namesakes in cases where an infant dies and its name is re-used for a later child, not a twin.

  Michael, use Died Young in  the suffix box for that and it will show up in merges also.

  My ultimate preference would be a check box for died young, unmarried, no issue/children, twin when entering a profile and different colour on the profile in the tree view rather then going back amd adding photo fot died young or putting something about person dying unmarried as this is not visible in merging i think this coul help eliminate many errors

  In Estonia there have been for centuries the system that if child was died during born or very young (usually under 5 years) the name was later re-used again (for the same gender child or sometimes even with gender variation like: Alexander <-> Alexandra, Peter <-> Petra, Ivan <-> Ivana, Jaan <-> Jaana etc). We know such cases where there have been 5 brothers with the same name (4 died young and only the last one was "OK"). I also know that if we don't know exact birth and death dates they will be merge candidates (I have already restored many such "bad merges"). Birth order marking (in profile basics) don't help as this field is fully ignored during merge/comparison. Shall we really use always suffix 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.?  Put this is not their name part! (i.e. there are no documents or references for such "John Smith 3rd")
