In tree view, if any set of parents contains at least one master profile, display that set and ignore others instead of displaying a [seemingly] random pair of parents. If any set of parents are masters, those are probably the most important.
For instance, I came across a profile today for which tree view showed a parental relationship where both parents were not masters, but the profile had parents which were both masters. That relationship should have been displayed instead of the one where both parents were not masters.
