In The merge centre, for example, when you have contacted someone about a possible match there is no way to tell, if you go back a day or two later that you ever contacted them and so you risk 'bothering' them by sending again. Ideally these names should be marked or highlighted and when you mouseover you can see the date you contacted them and so judge for yourself if you want to try again or not.

Liivi Murumets In someone's profile there could be an option in More Actions to show any communication with someone: messages and merge requests sent and received. The same way as pending family and collaboration requests are shown.
