Our family is worried about the publication of the family relationships on Google.
We need to keep this info private.
Otherwise, we'll proceed to delete the whole info at Geni.
Please, we need an immediate answer to this concern.

Private profiles does not show any family relationships in Google, and you can also change your setting so that Google are not even allowed to index them
You should remember that Geni is a dynamic web-site, so if you are logged in on Geni already with access to see the details clicking a link to a private profile which Google search find will display that profile with your login permissions. Try to log out of Geni first and you will see what other users see, if they even are allowed to see anything.
