When viewing a profile that one is not a manager of (& not in "the family of") it would be helpful to still be able to view the details of the relationships (e.g.: marriage date, location, ...). It's o.k. if the fields are locked and can't be edited, but at least let them be viewable (especially if both partner's profiles are public). This additional information can sometimes be useful in resolving otherwise ambiguous information.

Gilbert Schmitt I was surprise that after putting in the marriage information it did not show on the profile. This information is very important to genealogist and especially those hunting for relationships in their families.

Dan Cornett FYI, Gilbert: You can view the marriage information on the Timeline tab of the profile; it doesn't include the full name (e.g. birth name!) of the spouse, so if a man had three wives named Martha it can be difficult to tell which is which without being able to view the Relationship tab in edit mode.

Bjørn P. Brox Dan and Gilbert, - Just edit the event on the timeline to show whatever text you want, like their names when married.
