These are standard options in every genealogy program I've ever seen but yours. There's an enormous difference between saying that someone died 1790 C. and saying that he died BEFORE 1790.

Bruce R. Gilson Very useful. In some cases I know that someone was, say, 30 at a particular census, so I can pinpoint the DOB to within a year, but no better.

Lo It seems silly that Geni now calculates and shows an estimated range for birth - but will not let us put in a more accurate range where we know it!
