In the standard view, you can select how many generations are being shown in the tree, yet when you switch to horizontal, which is more compact, I don't have the same options. I would like to display more than 4 generations.

Inge Svelmo I absoultely agree on this. It's a very compact way to view the ancestor tree, but is limited by the 4 generation limit. Remove this!

Karl Wilhelm Höglander Please add this feature.

M Fischtein I agree. Please permit more generations on view in horizontal. thx.

Natalie MacLees I've moved this to Feature Requests. We will look into this and consider it for a future release.

Rosemarie Cohen You promised to do this March 2012 !!
Now is one year later what happened ?

Bjørn P. Brox Promized to move it to Feature Requests.... which she did.

Rosemarie Cohen But I can still not do it ???

Dan Cornett I would also like, on that horizontal display, options to: (option 1) include the focus-person's spouse(s) and (option 2) include immediate children (only, not the children's spouses).
As an aside: in the "normal" Tree View one can get a somewhat similar, though less compact, view by clicking the "blood relatives only" box and selecting the "narrow profile box"; not as nice, but one can control the number of generations viewed.

Attila Agoston Selecting how many generations are viewable in horizontal display for the tree is not working correctly.
I would like to display more than 4 generations but changing the number is not functioning as it always shows only 4 generations.
