Let specific persons edit my profile

Currently there are a permission setting "Let my family edit my profile". However this will give all my  family members a permission to edit mine. This will not a very good method as it will give permission to everyone in the family group while not all of them actually know the ethic of doing genealogy. They can simply change information in a way where we don't want. Or simply mess up with the data.

It will be good if we can give permission only to certain peoples which are trusted and responsible in our family group to change my own profile. If I will be dead, they(the trusted person) can change my profile to decease.

  Actually, as things now stand, no -- a claimed profile cannot be edited to deceased. 

  If this is the main reason you are asking for this - what is possible is for you to give your password to a very trusted family member -- then, when you are deceased, they can log in as you, and go to account settings and cancel the account, with reason being 'deceased'.  Otherwise, whether they have edit capability or not, to change you to deceased, they will need to click Actions, then click Report, and then Report you as deceased.

  If you make someone a manager of your profile, then they can edit it. I did this with my daughter in law. Actually, I asked Geni to make her a co-manager of all my profiles and they did it. You don't want the person to be primary manager because then they will get all your notifications.
