Instagram did this brilliantly, now it's Geni turn. I should be able to import photo of a relative from Facebook. Point relative profiles to their Facebook id's. This would make Geni more viral than it's now. Trust me :)

My family research had been a great success due to the information in Facebook.. For Geni seems to be only where I keep the information.. The search capability in Geni doesn't return much information.. Even if it have, the responsible contact for the profile doesn't response most of the time...
