It would save time, if private profiles on the tree view had some type of symbol on them to let a person know that they were private. This way those of us who aren't curators aren't wasting the curators time, by looking at trees and giving us feedback telling us that they are private... locked... or zombies.
I'm sure there is some way of doing this. So this is my suggestion...
There are profiles which are locked, because people have locked them from people viewing or changing them. These are private, yet locked so people can change them. Then there are private profiles, where they aren't locked, but they are alive.
So I guess what I should suggest is that the locked profiles show a lock on them from the tree view. Also if private profiles, instead of just being grayed out, were either one color for being alive or another color for being deceased, then we could be able to tell which ones were zombies from the tree view.
This suggestion basically is how to tell if a profile is private due to being locked, or being alive and not in the Max Extended Family of a claimed profile. I have seen profiles of people born in the 1700's as being alive.
I hope this clarifies my suggestion idea.
