Local and International place names based on language of the user

Language support would help. If I enter an English name from the dropdown, often a local nationalist hothead changes it immediately to a local language. (No matter that the person has descendants abroad who do not understand a single word of the local language). Such kind of edit wars are stupid.

It should be "Rõuge kihelkond, Võrumaa, Eesti" for users which have selected Estonian as their language and  "Rõuge Parish, Võru County, Estonia" for everybody else. (If Geni was tool for historians and not a social network, it could have also historical German name "Kirchpiel Rauge, Kreis Werro, Livland" or perhaps just German name "Kirchpiel Rõuge (Rauge), Kreis Võru (Werro), Estland" but I think something like that would be hopeless).  But just two names - local and international - should not be hopeless.  For the example above, Estonia has just about 50 historical Lutheran parishes, and I could post that bilingual list any time - or perhaps a body with more authority could submit it, like a local Geneology Society. Sure, your programmers should have to solve some problems, like which GEDCOM tags to use etc, but should not be that difficult.
