My ancestors include members of various American Indian tribes. Being able to track their tribal affliations would allow me to narrow down the Indian Rolls where their name might appear and, for older tribe members, to track their probable movement through the movement of their tribes (forced and otherwise)
Also, many individuals today are a mix of several ethnic groups and there is currently only the ability to track one ethnicity.
