Please allow a merge by entering in a profile ID

  May be you should have tested this first?

  You can enter a profile id and click search more

  If you enter a profile ID and then click "Compare Profiles", it does not work.  However, you get the message "This merge has already been completed".  As you correctly point out, there is a way to use profile ID, but it is an undocumented feature, as far as I can tell.
