I'd like the capability to customize the default images of profiles that only the user would see. For instance, an option to display a flag of the profile's nation of birth if no image is set, instead of the default head silhouette. This would prevent many conflicts between users over the use of such generic images.

Hatte Rubenstein Blejer Images are very subjective. My preference would be for a user to be able to have the image they prefer without all the others who share that ancestor having to see that image. Images cause a lot of conflict which could be avoided with the ability to personalize images or at least to turn off an image that you dislike or feel is just too generic, inappropriate or downright incorrect.

Victar Exactly. One user would add flowers to profiles, one species for men, and one for women. Naturally, not everyone is as keen as he was on the idea, but if there was some setting where a person could select an image from their albums to be used in such a scenario that only the user would see, that to save much conflict.

Myrna Huthmacher (Leonard), PRO C I would vote for that. I don't understand some of the unrelated things that get put on, and would love to have the option of not seeing what I feel is garbage.

Victar Probably the easiest solution would be to photos in private albums only visible on profiles by the person who owns the album or those who have access, such as those in his family group. To make it public and visible to everyone, you would have to be associated with it in a project.
