On an individual's profile page, there should be a "Photos" tab and a "Documents" tab. Each of these tabs should indicate how many photos and documents are contained therein. On Randy Schoenberg's profile page, for example, the tabs would show "Photos (61)" and "Documents (4)". Presently, one has to click the "Media" tab to see whether any individual's profile has any photos or documents attached to it at all. The "Media" tab does not itself indicate whether there is any media behind it. One has to click it to find out.
Many users probably do not realize that photos and documents are behind the Media tab, and when they go to a profile, simply don't see anything and move on. I do that all the time, and I know that's where the photos and documents are! I just don't always remember to look.
I also suggest that the number on the proposed "Photos" tag indicate the total number of photos from all albums, not the number of photos of the person. In my case, for example, the tab would read "Photos (183)" rather than "Photos (7)"
