Job Waterreus If your GEDCOM file is still in Geni, you can undo the import and redo it importing it for the right person. See Can I undo a GEDCOM import? (never try to import again without first reversing a previous import, otherwise you will create a duplicate for each profile)
You might also want to look at How do I handle matches during my GEDCOM import? If you are a basic user Geni will show you only the first matching profile, so then you will have to use an external search engine to find the other possible matching profiles (as the Geni search screen will only allow you to find profiles you and your collaborators manage). Other users may find duplicates and merge them for you, but that can take a long time.
Please try to resolve any tree and data conflicts that are the result of merging your GEDCOM profiles.
There are a number of help projects on Geni that you might want to look at. You can find some of them on this project: https://www.geni.com/projects/Nederlandse-handleiding-GENI-voor-Dummies/13048 (English version, bottom of page)
