I have a family tree in Geni but I can not edit the profile of Manuel Orlando Lopez Zayas (my brother in law) because Jarad Curator took control of it, I will like to now why you took control. my primary langage is Espanish, sorry

  Jose, you can't edit Manuel's profile because he's a Geni user, just as he can't edit your profile because you're a Geni user.  Jadra did not take control of the profile, it's controlled by Manuel, who was last online Oct 30, 2016.

  In order for you to edit another family member's profile who is a Geni member, they would have to check the box in their account settings: https://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions

  "Let my family edit my profile"
