Hi, I am able to click on my Tree Matches in Merge Center to view the details and request to merge without Geni Pro. However, there is one Tree Match that requires me to sign up for Pro. Any idea why some Tree Matches are free and some are not?

Job Waterreus The first tree match is free, for others you need to find the possible duplicate by searching for it with an external search engine (which will only work for public profiles).
You can also wait and see if another user will merge the profiles or initiate a merge for them.
Collaboration with other users will help as you can use the Geni search screen also to find profiles managed by your collaborators.
If you have very many tree matches you could try the 2 weeks free period and cancel before you will have to pay for the Pro subscription. But you better save that till you got used to Geni a bit, so you can use the free period to full advantage.
