I deleted myheritage account with they won't restore it with my DNA that I paid over $100 for. I don't do business with them and am disappointed that I can't get information on this site without going to myheritage which is moot. Bad customers support at myheritage and they wouldn't let me download my dna again, that is why I deleted everything and hate myheritage and won't be using geni if that is what geni does.

Geni Support Team Hi Patricia, it sounds like you may have clicked on a Record Match or a Smart Match, which is provided in partnership with MyHeritage.
MyHeritage is Geni's parent company, although our two websites continue to operate separately. Geni takes a different approach to genealogy than MyHeritage. While MyHeritage has private, isolated family trees, Geni is creating a single shared tree of the world through collaboration. We offer matches to MyHeritage's database of historical records and family trees, so that our users can confirm those historical records to Geni profiles. Access to those records does require a MyHeritage data subscription. If you do not want to create a MyHeritage account, then you can simply ignore those matches and continue to use Geni's other collaborative features.
