Hello; I can't seem to fix an error: My mother is listed as her partner's daughter - I want to change this to her partner's ex spouse (who is listed as the ex spouse). Very frustrating!. I tried to delete the daughter and start over but she has an account so I can't. I've tried to change the relationships but it won't leet me. Please advise - thanks, Carrie

Jeff, Geni Curator Happy to help Carrie, but having a hard time understanding exactly what you're trying to do as I don't see that your mother has any parents listed. You'll want to add the two spouses, then just edit the child's profile via the relationship tab to select the proper parents. If you want me to fix anything, just tell me how you want it and I can do so if you'd like.

Sorry, I'll clarify - my mother, Anne has a partner, Robert. Robert was married to Beryl and they had two daughters, Sonia and Monique. They somehow appeared to be listed as the daughters of my mother Anne, not Beryl. I deleted Monique to start over, but can't edit or fix Sonia. Does that make sense?Thank you!

Jeff, Geni Curator Yes - It should be fixed now with a pending merge, since you had two Beryl profiles. I also undeleted Monique and set her parent relationship as the sister of Sonia. Hope that helps. :)

Jeff, Geni Curator If you edit the profile of Robert or Beryl, go to the relationship tab and there will be a drop down on the spouse, where it can be changed to ex-spouse.

Bobiena Hannessen I have been trying for hours to sort out a mistake. I am listed as my Mothers sister as well as her daughter. I also have 2 profiles and a Anton Van der berg changing things for me who I don't even know. Please help.
