I was having trouble, rather suddenly, logging in to account. Even though my information was correct in the log-in, I received a message saying there was a problem with my ID, something about an asterisk that should not have been there. After entering the information myself several times and still receiving that response, I tried adding another email address. This worked but somehow I merged the two profiles and now I have LOST my complete history from my original account. I can now only go back to my father and my mother is not even shown. Is there ANY WAY to recover my completed history that wen back to before 1769?

Geni Support Team Hi George, not to worry! All your information is still there. I see that you have a tree conflict after the merge. In your tree, click on the yellow triangle to resolve these conflicts by merging the duplicate profiles for your parents. Once the conflict is resolved, you should see your tree as it was before.

George Wesley Donaldson I appreciate the prompt reply about my problem. I followed your advice and clicked on the yellow triangle and it brought up the box that included a button to Merge Duplicates; however, the button does not seem to be active as it does nothing when I click on it..??? Any further insight will be appreciated!!!!!!!

George Wesley Donaldson Never mind... I did not read closely and did not understand i had to drag one to the other to merge them. MY BAD!!!
Figured that out and the profiles merged successfully. Thank you so much for the help!
