I don`t know how, but the administration rights to part of my my Ex´s family tree was just transferred by Geni to me. Have no clue why this is done, as this famiy tree has lots of other famiy members with the same last name who could do this.
I don`t want to have this function, and have searched high and low, and have clicked on almost everything, but I can`t remove my ex (as some one else have addes him as my fiancè), and I can`t remove his family.
HELP!

Geni Support Team Hi, it sounds like management was automatically transferred after the user was reported as inactive. You should have received an email notification about this transfer. In that email, there is a link you can click on to relinquish management of those profiles.

Job Waterreus You might also want to look at this setting: https://www.geni.com/account_settings/managed_profiles

Fr. Fanny Louise Wullum Fahsing I have clicked on the link I received, and in that box Job sent a picture of, but I am still managing my ex`s family ... I can`t remove my ex from my family tree, even though I made him my ex, because some one else added him as my fiance 14 years ago, and he can`t figure out how to make us unattached.

Job Waterreus You can hide the relation to your ex on your profile page (using edit)
.
Alternatively you can also ask a curator to remove the relation in https://www.geni.com/discussions/272643

Fr. Fanny Louise Wullum Fahsing My Ex`s family is now gone, since he or someone else has made him nameless. His family is listed in his profile, though. Is he removed from other people`s view when I have hidden him in my profile?

Job Waterreus No, others will see something like this:

Fr. Fanny Louise Wullum Fahsing Thanks. Still looks like I am married or in a relationship with someone. :-(

Geni Support Team We split the tree for you, which removed your ex-partner "No Name."
If the link to relinquish management didn't work, then please provide the link to a specific example where you are still the manager so that we can look into it further.
