I haved ticked the Trust this computer box, but I still have to use an authenticator code every time I log in. Why?

  I had no problems activating two factor authentication. It worked, but not the way I expected, so I had to deactivate it. The problem is that I have to use an authentication code even thogh I checked the «Trust this computer» box the previous day. If the effect of checking this box does not last for more than 1 day it is useless to me.
