Shortest blood relationship

I have two questions.  One is that I can see the "shortest blood relationship" and the "shortest in-law relationship."  But I have some ancestors, like most people do, that are related by blood in more ways than one.  Is there any way to see alternate blood relationship paths besides the one that Geni defaults to?

Also, someone about 8 or 9 generations back has built a profile for a person and listed the biological parents, but also the foster parents.  Geni always uses the foster parents when building a "blood relationship" pathway.  I know for a fact that there is a path through this person that goes through the foster parents but also the biological parents, but Geni defaults to the foster parents, which screws up efforts to view family lines that are blood only.  Is there a way to ask Geni not to use foster parents when showing blood pathways?
