I am trying to remove another manager from one of my great-great-grandfathers. I have no idea how that person, who claims an erroneous linkage to my tree, became a manager. Some of the help files say "In the Actions tab", remove the manager.
1) Where is the Actions tab?
2) In lists I see in the right-hand column a heading saying "actions", but there is no "remove manager" function for ANY of the people in the list.

Is there a Manager options link?
if you open it - can you see an x at all by the manager's names?
There is a manager options link. Next to *my* name there is an "X". Next to the *other* person's name there is not. Note that I created the tree, entered all the data. The *other* person somehow is now a manager also, and has linked my tree in erroneous ways to another non-related tree via this person on my tree.
Happened same to me. @Stephen did you get a solution for your problem?
If there was a wrong merge please do not try to make changes to the concerning profiles, but ask in https://www.geni.com/discussions/245980 to undo the wrong merge.
It helps if you add sources or source references to the profiles you manage to avoid mistakes by other users and it helps curators correct those mistakes.
If a profile is within your family group you can use the actions menu on the profile page to remove other managers that are not within the family group of that profile (in that case there will be an x with the manager name which you can use to remove those managers).
But please remember to Geni tries to build on big Geni World Tree with only one profile for each person (so most profiles should have multiple managers)
