Html5 is still slower than Flash, it is less capable and it looks ugly. The only reason html5 is being pushed is the smartphone industry that doesn't want to, or can't depend on pushy Adobe products. Please keep Flash at least until html5 improves. How many genealogists actually use their smartphones to daily edit and post large number of tree additions?

Jeroen M.W. van Dijk As the smartphones get better and better, More Geni users are using the smartphone to do edits on Geni.com tree. I don't know how many new users Geni is getting by moving over to Html5.

David Sheridan Masarek Keep Adobe Flash! It is still 100% better than HTML5"More Geni users" is too subjective to base anything on. -
Harold Lumicao Liban My View Tree page doesn't show all of the Node yellow arrows I'm accustomed to do my work without Adobe Flash! Geni takes me to an alternate format on View Tree without yellow arrows. I wonder why I have to re-download Adobe Flash nearly every month. It gets to be a pain in the butt!! I had no problem without Adobe Flash from 2008 -2015.

I must say this the first time I hear negative sounds about the move from Flash to Html5 ofcourse the move is big and you can expect some transitions issues and features. But the move is discussed long here https://www.geni.com/projects/Users-who-want-Geni-to-move-from-Flash-to-HTML5-Canvas-SVG-WebGL/2243 and the discussion is closed and the programming project move from Flash to Html5 is almost finish.
The main argument is that supporting Flash and Html5 will cost too much and not all the devices are supported by Flash and the Html5 is supports all devices.
