How can I correct relationship path?

The father of my 4th great-grandfather is being listed as "my first cousin four times removed's wife's daughter's husband's second great uncle."

Is there anyway to get Geni to recognize the more direct relationship path?

  And to make matters worse, my 6th great-grandmother is shown as my "first cousin four times removed's wife's daughter's husband's second great grandmother" while her father is correctly shown as my 7th great grandfather.
