I noticed on my recent activity feed that someone else had incorrectly merged two profiles of some of my more distant ancestors - those of Rev. John Vans, AM and Sir John Vans of Barnbarroch, Knight. Sir John Vans is Rev. John Vans father. They are pre-1600 with established profiles I don't manage, so I didn't know if this would be taken care of by the medieval curators automatically, or if there was some way I could fix it.

Anne Brannen You need a medieval curator, one of whom is me, so I'll fix it.
You can get hold of the curators (we can detach profiles and unmerge most merges) over in the Discussion forum -- there are pinned threads there where you can ask for help -- more curators see that than come here.

Anne Brannen Actually, it's looking good at the moment -- Sir John Vans is indeed Rev. John Vans' father, and the dates are ok. I'm not seeing where they were merged together, in the revision history.
