Need help with merging and/or deleting duplicate profiles

I think I need some help from someone at the curator level. Everything seemed fine with the maternal side of my family, that of grandfather Zalman/Sam Millman and his descendants. However, just this week I noticed lots of duplicates, mostly profiles added in 2009 and managed by Trudye Fishoff and Franklin Elias. Several were Cheslers, often with the first name "unknown" but one is George Enoch Chesler. These all duplicate my Chessler (note spelling) cousins who are on our tree with more complete information. 

I requested some merges and even tried to delete one or two, but am afraid that I may mess things up. Would appreciate any help you can give! I did, by the way, try to contact the profile managers.

  Hi I noticed that I had a half-brother listed in my profile by Mandy Allford. This is a malicious piece of information. Curator please remove and remove Mandy Allford from managing my profile.

  I have been informed that there is a duplication in my family profile.  My sister is listed twice:  once as Barbara Anne Berman and then again as Barbara Berman (Portnoy), PhD.  They are both the same person!  How do I get one of those names eliminated?

  Duplicate profiles should (if possible)  be merged. Try asking for help in ATTENTION Curators, please assist. Give a link to the profiles there.
