Dear Ms/Mr,
My name is Bela Meiri. I live in Israel.
Before marriage, my family name was Coler.
My grandfather, my father's father, Coler Idel, was born in Kolomeya in 1894.
His father was Coler Moishe Hersh or Coler Iancu Hersh (I am not sure about the first name) and died at 1894 or 1895 in Kolomeya.
His mother, Dvoira, was born in Galitzia in 1873, in a place called Sopcek or Sopcak. Her name before marriage was Dvoira Habaragiu. Her father's name was Hersh Harabagiu. Her mother's name was Ester Harabagiu.
In 1895 she left Kolomeya with her son Coler Idel and established with him in Dorohoi (north Romania).
She married again with Geamer (Gemer) Itzic, who was born in a village near Dorohoi.
They had six children.
In 1941 they were deported to Transnistria together with other jews people from Dorohoi and before they passed the Nister River, near to Ataky (Ukraine), Dvoira was killed.
I would like to find relatives from Iancu-Hersh / Moishe Hersh Coler 's side and from Dvoira Harabagiu' s side.
In 1980 some people from France arrived in Dorohoi and asked to go to the cemetery to Coler Idel's gravestone. They met my grandmother (Idel's wife) but she did not speak French, so I don't have the name or phone number of these people. I think they were my grandfather's (Coler Idel) relatives.
What can I do in order to find somebody from these families (Coler and Harabagiu)?
Can you help me?
Thank you in advance, your sincerely,
Bela Meiri
