Is there a way to "Ignore" all notification for specific profiles ?

hi, Is it possible to ignore all notifications regarding certain profile? My situation is the my late father had a second wife whose family is on Geni, I get many notifications on matches which I don't care much about and I don't see any way to "put them aside", so my home page will be free for matches I am more interested in. I keep seeing the same people over and over again...
